Since the beginning, Rado have achieved exceptional results in luxury watch manufacture using ceramic. Then in 2018, they launched what would become one of their most impressive patents to date: Ceramos. Launched within the Rado DiaMaster Ceramos collection, Ceramos delivers the best of both ceramic and metal alloy, delivering the same scratch resistance, lightness and hypoallergenic properties of ceramic with the radiance and durability of metal. This Rado DiaMaster Ceramos Automatic watch is a perfect example of their mastery, achieving everlasting shine and resistance through the sleek 40.7 millimetre silver-coloured Ceramos case.

Matching the splendour of the case is a pure silver-white sunray-finished dial adorned with polished steel hands for the hour and minutes, black printed Roman numerals for the hour markers and a white window at 3 o’clock for the date display. Fuelling each of these functions is the Calibre A31 automatic winding movement which continues to impress with a power reserve of 64 hours and a beautifully decorated Cotes de Geneve oscillating rotor, a traditional motif for any Swiss made movement. The rotor alongside some of the 21 jewels can be viewed through the sapphire crystal glass case back. The same scratch resistant crystal protects the dial of the Rado DiaMaster Ceramos watch alongside a non-screw locked crown aiding a 50 metre water resistance. To complete the men’s Rado watch, a sophisticated black alligator leather strap is added alongside a classic folding-style buckle.
